I really struggled in the beginning of nursing school with care plans, but I want to make sure no-one else has to go through what I did. Included in this package is a wealth of information, which will make a BIG difference in nursing school for you!

Below are the items you will receive. The documents are a mixture of pdf (Adobe Acrobat), PowerPoint and word documents.

1.     The Nursing Care Plan Folder :
 
Include Nursing Care Plans in word format and pdf documents of ready to use care plans. Most are mine that I did while in nursing school.

2.     The Assessment and assignments Folder:  

Written assessments and assignments have been included.  Some are graded, which will help you avoid the mistakes that I made.

3.     The HESI Preparation Folder:

For those that do not know HESI, HESI is a nursing school exit exam, and a lot of schools will not graduate a student who has not passed this exam.  It depicts whether or not you are ready for the NCLEX exam. The HESI exit exam is one of the hardest exams you may have to take. It is said that if you can pass HESI you will pass your NCLEX well.  I had a very high score on my HESI exam and passed NCLEX at 75 questions!  In this folder, you will find notes, advanced clinical concepts, questions and answers I used to study for the HESI. It is excellent for preparing for both NCLEX and other school exams.

4.     The NCLEX Questions Folder:

Includes over 100s and 100s of NCLEX style questions and links.

5.     The PowerPoints, Misc, Flashcards & Lecture Notes Folders: PowerPoint’s, flashcards, concept maps, drug cards, lectures and extras that I used and found very helpful during nursing school are included.

6.     The Study Guide Q & A Folder: 

Many Medical-Surgical textbooks have a study guide.  For each test/exam, we would form study groups and each student would take a certain number of chapters and complete the study guide.  Each student in the group would each then have all chapters of the study guides to help us prepare for the test/exam! The study guides included, are complete with answers and ready to use, to help you prepare for your next test/exam.

7.     The Patient Teaching Plans Folder: 

Include teaching plans I wrote during my nursing program. It will definitely help you.

8.     The Test-taking Skills Folder:

 Included are several test-taking skill documents, which will help you regardless of whether you are taking a School test or the NCLEX. One is over 100 pages long. Please read it, it will make a very big difference to your test-taking skills.  It teaches you to identify the "right" answer, even if you have no idea what the question is asking!
